The Falcon Theatre is thrilled to present the world premiere comedy The Psychic written by Sam Bobrick and directed by Susan Morgenstern, the final production in its 2009-2010 Subscription Season. This side-splitting original work stars a talented ensemble cast: Cyrus Alexander (Valentine’s Day, Falcon Theatre’s Everybody Say “Cheese!”), Jeffrey Cannata (The Bold and the Beautiful, The Totally Rad Show), Bridget Flanery (Will & Grace, Desperate Housewives), Dana Green (Early Edition, Falcon Theatre’s Surviving Sex), Richard Horvitz (The Informant, Invader Zim) and Phil Proctor (Firesign Theatre, Rugrats).

The Psychic follows the chaotic life of Adam Webster (Jeffrey Cannata), a befuddled, down-on-his-luck writer, who has put a sign in his apartment window, in desperation to make the rent: “Psychic Readings $25.” The sign soon draws the interest of the lovely and conflicted Laura (Dana Green), her shady husband Roy (Cyrus Alexander), Roy’s mistress Rita (Bridget Flanery), a gangster named Johnny Bubbles (Richard Horvitz) and ace Detective Norris Coslow (Phil Proctor). In the comedic cacophony that follows, The Psychic entangles Adam in a hilarious murder mystery (of sorts) that you won’t want to miss!

The Psychic plays five weeks, Wednesday-Saturday at 8pm, with Sunday matinees at 4pm.
