The Falcon Theatre presents Richard Alfieri’s Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, the second production in its 2008-2009 “Bringin’ the FUNNY’ All-Comedy subscription season. Constance Towers, star of Broadway and the popular soap opera General Hospital, and Jason Graae, award-winning musical theater and TV actor, star in this revival of the Broadway and international hit play, directed again by Arthur Allan Seidelman and choreographed by Kay Cole.

It’s hate at first sight when Lily (Constance Towers), a formidable retired woman, hires Michael (Jason Graae), an acerbic ex-Broadway chorus boy, to give her private dance lessons in her Florida condo. As Michael teaches Lily to dance, they both learn some unexpected lessons in life. Part comedy, part drama, part cha-cha-cha.

FREE DANCE LESSONS from Arthur Murray Dance Studios!
Prior to the performances on Thursdays (November 6, 13 and 20), join us in the Falcon lobby from 7-7:30pm for a FREE DANCE LESSON! Learn some of the dance moves featured in the show, such as the Swing, the Tango and, of course, the Cha-Cha!

No need to make a reservation for the free lesson. Just put on your dancing shoes and waltz on down to the Falcon! And if you want to see the SIX DANCE LESSONS show after the lesson, be sure to call the box office at 818-955-8101 to purchase your tickets.

"Those who saw Towers waltz in a celebrated Broadway revival of The King And I will be happy to know she has lost none of her grace and intelligent charm. Tall and lithe, she looks effortlessly regal in Helen Butler's costumes."

"If you go to Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks expecting a laugh, you're going to get it, but be prepared for a whole lot more...should not be let to slip under any theatrical radar!"
--SoCal Magazine

Constance Towers as ‘Lily’ and Jason Graae as ‘Michael’ in SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS.

"Graae is quite believable as the emotionally fragile, militantly self-protective man. He makes viable Michael's amalgam of insensitive vulgarity and growing empathetic concern for this woman who so desperately needs his friendship. Towers invests Lily with an endearing gentility and reticence."
