The Falcon Theatre is a 130-seat performing arts space located in the Burbank, California media district near Disney Studios, NBC, Warner Bros. and Universal Studios. Built by Director/Writer/Producer Garry Marshall and his daughter Kathleen Marshall LaGambina, the Falcon opened its doors in November of 1997 and launched a 5-play subscription series in 2002. Mr. Marshall, who directs movies when he’s not playing softball, has a self-described “life-long addiction to theatre” and built the Falcon as a place where old friends and emerging talent can come together to create exciting work on stage.
The Falcon’s acclaimed productions include Crimes of the Heart starring Morgan Fairchild, Crystal Bernard and Faith Ford; Fahrenheit 451 written by Ray Bradbury and co-produced by his Pandemonium Theatre Company; Golf with Alan Shepard starring Jack Klugman, Charles Durning, Paul Dooley and Granville Van Dusen; Wrong Turn at Lungfish by Garry Marshall and Lowell Ganz, starring Hector Elizondo; Trumbo starring Joe Montegna and Jeffrey Donovan, Everybody Say “Cheese!” by Garry Marshall, directed by Steve Zuckerman and starring Joe Regalbuto and Deedee Rescher; The Psychic by Sam Bobrick; Tea at Five starring Stephanie Zimbalist and directed by Jenny Sullivan; and Jamaica, Farewell written and performed by Debra Ehrhardt, presented in association with Rita Wilson, and directed by Joel Zwick.
