The Falcon Theatre is a 130-seat professional theatre that operates year-round in Burbank, California, adjacent to the charming Toluca Lake Village. Built by Director/Writer/Producer Garry Marshall and his daughter Kathleen Marshall LaGambina, the Falcon opened in November of 1997 and launched its annual 5-play Subscription Series in 2002, currently produced by Kathleen and Sherry Greczmiel. Mr. Marshall founded the Falcon as a place where established artists and emerging talent can come together to create exciting work on stage.
The Falcon's acclaimed productions include an array of comedies, both new and well-known, helmed by various directors, including four plays written and/or directed by founder Garry Marshall: Wrong Turn at Lungfish, Everybody Say 'Cheese!', Happy Days: The Musical, and Billy & Ray (which subsequently made its Off-Broadway debut).
The Falcon Theatre has teamed up with the Ovation Award winning Troubadour Theater Company on hilarious musical mash-ups such as It's a Stevie Wonderful Life, As U2 Like It, Fleetwood Macbeth, Frosty the Snow Manilow, and Santa Claus is Comin' to Motown. The Falcon has also presented Impro Theatre company's full-length improvised plays, including Twilight Zone UnScripted, The Western UnScripted, and Sondheim UnScripted.
