How Deep Is Your Love for the Troubies?! Join them as they dig down to their roots and dust off their fairy wings, tights and white disco suits to re-imagine Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The star-crossed lovers steam and scheme, and the Bard‘s most famous fairy, Puck, will be Jive Talkin’ as this assorted band of merrymakers heats up into a Disco Inferno. The Night Fevers will break 104 and make you sweat, so don your halter tops and Boogie Shoes and let the Troubies melt your hearts. Feeling the fever already? Take A Fifth of Beethoven and call me in the morning!

“A rascally and very talented band of performers who wreak hilarious havoc… they manage to capture the essence of Shakespeare's comedy amidst the whirl of physical gags, upbeat music and improvisational one-liners. There are outstanding performances all around.”
--Huffington Post

“Cultured pandemonium with hilarious results. Kennedy remains the jewel in the Troubadour crown. She distorts her beauty and form continuously for hearty laughs. Malak masters pratfalls with the elegance of a young Carol Burnett. Molly Alavarez's choreography is first class…Some of the numbers are dazzling. An audience can never go wrong choosing a night with the Troubies. They are guaranteed gut-busting chuckles and a hard-working cast.”

“I’ll be surprised if anything else I see this summer tops the ingenuity and sheer entertainment value of A Midsummer Saturday Night Fever’s Dream.”

“A lively, inventive, and satisfying concoction. Part Shakespearean text, part Saturday Night Fever, and part straight-up hallucination, they have created a sassy musical theater extravaganza that scampers gaily across theatrical genres while rattling audience complacency. The talent and commitment of the ensemble is undeniable, their exuberance contagious.”

“Walker is an impish Puck, more ominous than usual, who resembles bat boy…Malak's Hermia is a saucy little maid…Kennedy is endearing as her nerdy girl BFF Helena… she has an easy command of the text that brings fresh colors and a disarming honesty to Helena's often-recited speeches. The Troubie secret weapon this time around is Joseph Leo Bwarie as Demetrius. His boy band creation in long blonde locks definitely knows how to glamour the audience.”

“Wow! Not surprisingly, the entire cast of Troubies are once again at the top of their comedy triple-threat game. A Midsummer Saturday Night’s Fever Dream is guaranteed to keep audiences laughing throughout its guaranteed-to-be-sold-out run.”

“Critic’s Pick! I have been reviewing the Troubadour Theatre Company for 12 years, and like fine wine, the troupe gets better and better with each passing gig. Suffice to say, the show is a moment to moment crowd-pleaser.”

“Walker offers a devilish Puck. Kennedy is a one-person comedy show as forever-scorned Demetrius-adoring Helena. Schneider’s spell-smitten seduction of Batalla’s Bottom after he has been afflicted with a head of a donkey is a sex-charged delight.”
