At the “Shag Carpet” Opening of Cindy and the Disco Ball on March 1, kids, moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas and celebrities and their families alike broke out their disco duds and moved to the sounds of the 70s before, during and after the shows!
Celebrities such as Melora Hardin (The Office) and her two daughters, new dad Joey McIntyre (Dancing with the Stars), Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) and Hector Elizondo joined Garry Marshall and the Marshall clan to kick-off this retro retelling of Cinderella told to a boogie-oogie beat.
Plus, the “Youth Ambassadors” Alyson Stoner (Cheaper by the Dozen, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), Jessica Newman, Ryan Newman (Disney’s Mongoose & Luther) and Taylor Dooley (The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl) of the Lollipop Theater Network joined in on the festivities.
After the show, Garry Marshall presented a Magic 8-Ball and an autographed photo of the cast to the winner of the Disco Costume Contest. Cast members signed autographs and took pictures with the kids, as they do after every show, as everybody danced to the disco beat! Check out the pictures below! |
