Falcon Theatre is thrilled to anounce the fifth comedy in its 2007-2008 subscription season: the WORLD PREMIERE of An Act of Love, written by David Landsberg, directed by Casey Stangl. Scroll down to see photos and reviews!
An Act of Love is the ultra dysfunctional-family comedy about newly-divorced insurance salesman, Peter Sandusky (Timothy Hornor), and the chaotic women who converge on him on the evening of his first date since the break-up of his 3-month marriage. A blind date who remains hidden from view (Beth Kennedy, Troubie’s Jackson Frost, Alice in One-Hit-Wonderland), a wayward sister in need of a place to crash (Hedy Burress, Boston Common), and a narcissistic wannabe-actress mother (Susan Sullivan, Dharma and Greg, Falcon Crest) all prove to be the necessary ingredients for Peter to take control and concoct a recipe for life as it should be! Can one desperate, last ditch effort for love repair the damage of an entire history of hurt, even if it is only an act? Rounding out the cast are Jay Harik as 'Vanoush' the cab driver and Lovensky Jean-Baptiste as 'Darwin'.
An Act of Love plays five weeks, Wednesday-Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday matinees at 4pm.
